MISSION
Tampines Primary School (TPS) will provide for a pervasive ICT-enriched learning environment that allows pupils to engage in rich and meaningful learning experiences that prepares them for independent and life-long learning.

GOALS

  1. ICT is used effectively, complementing PoETEL to impact positively on teaching and engaged learning.
  2. Pupils become active and creative learners who are media literate and are able to use ICT to advance their own learning.
  3. Every pupil will be equipped with the Baseline Skills for ICT.
  4. Pupils will become aware of the importance of cyber-wellness and demonstrate the ethical use of technology

Cyberwellness refers to the positive well-being of Internet users. It involves an understanding of the risks of harmful online behaviour, an awareness of how to protect oneself and other Internet users from such behaviour.

Through various school initiatives/programmes, Tampines Primary School aims to develop a sense of cyberwellness. This will ensure that our pupils benefit and enjoy ICT responsibly and safely.
