Partnership - Parents
In partnering parents, the school is guided by its principle that “Every parent is a supportive and valued partner in nurturing the pupils”. The school recognises the importance of partnering all parents to support pupils’ learning and growth. Emphasis is placed on keeping parents abreast of the school’s philosophy, directions, programmes, events and achievements; and their children’s behaviour and progress. The school communicates with parents through fortnightly letters and meet-the-parents sessions.

Through these avenues, the school also addresses issues such as examination formats, examination topics and study skills. Effective collaboration between school and parents will ensure that our young receive the maximum guidance and help they need to navigate confidently through life. Tampines Primary School will also conduct Parents Workshop during Term 1 of the academic year. The objective is to equip our parents with skills and knowledge to better supervise the work of their child at home. We have also provided a specialized information centre on our website for the TPS Parents.
