Tampines Primary School was conferred the Development Award in the area for National Education (NE) in 2006 for providing a holistic education in term of inculcating of NE values among our pupils.  Various school-wide programmes such as Drama in Education, partnership with parents and community during the NE core events and festivals provide opportunity for pupils to interact with one another to develop their awareness for and rootedness to our country.
