The CCA is held on every Monday, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The origin of Chinese Calligraphy, the unique elements of different writing styles and essential writing techniques will be introduced to the children through comprehensive learning activities. For amateurs, the instructor will guide them via the traditional and effective process of handwriting practice, which consists of three steps: Mo, Lin and Xie.

An exhibition of children’s works will be arranged in the second semester to celebrate the success of the children in harnessing the skills taught in the Calligraphy lessons. Children will also be selected to represent the school in Chinese Calligraphy competitions held by external organisers.

In addition, the teaching of the art of POP will also be incorporated, where children get to emancipate their mind and indulge in a creative form of Calligraphy.
