Badminton is one of the four sports selected for the TPS CCA Excellence Programme. This year, we conducted a recruitment drive for the Primary Three pupils by having a trial run on the pupils’ aptitude and potential for the sport. In addition to that, we have engaged a highly experienced coach to conduct training twice a week for the team. We have also designed an official attire (a new jersey) to be worn by all members of the Badminton Team during their training, with the intent to enhance the sense of commitment that the pupils have for the sport. Our goal is not just mainly to achieve a placing in the East Zone Cluster Competition in 2007, but we hope to provide a more holistic education to the team members in the area of Sports.
